She's Here!
Within the pages of Blessed Are the Women are stories of women who tell the good news. Their stories are real. Their stories are true. Their stories are gospel.
Dearly Beloved,
Today’s the day—Blessed Are the Women officially releases out into this wild, wonderful world, and we get to bask in her stories, goodness, love, and truth. That’s the hope and the prayer.
Thank you for purchasing your copy. Thank you for sharing her good news. Thank you for centering and celebrating women and our stories—from the Gospels and everywhere.
With the continued systematic killing and starvation of the people of Palestine, I am heartsick and enraged. The temptation to tamp my joy about my first book debuting is real.
Yet, I remember what I say in some of the book’s opening pages and what the prophets and saints and women have been telling us for years—the spiritual life is the life and its rampant with paradox, a mixed bag of both delight and terror, heartbreak and heart repair, sorrow and joy, courage and fear.
As faithful followers of a life that is deeper and truer, we can sit here in this mixed bag and feel it all. And we can sit here and stay here bearing witness to a new (ancient) truth and a bigger love because we sit here together, encircled by the faithful with women and our stories at the very center.
Blessed Are the Women—everywhere, in every time, in every way—indeed.
With love, justice, and joy,
Claire

HELP! BOOK REVIEWS!
If you purchased your book on Amazon, please take a few minutes to give Blessed Are the Women a five-star review. Visit this page, scroll to the bottom, and click on the button that reads “Write a Customer Review.”
I need at least 35 reviews for the algorithm to kick in and pay more attention to the book—recommending it, advertising it, etc. Will you help me get even more than 35?
Just like preorders tell booksellers you want this book, reviews tell both booksellers AND the general public AND the pesky algorithm that you loved it and they will, too. Thank you! Love you! Happy reading and reviewing!
Thank you for reading my Substack. This post is public so feel free to share it.
